Biography

Mr. Scott is a program manager with over thirty years experience spanning research, engineering, plant operations, and construction projects. He currently leads efforts to identify, understand and remedy technical risks inherent in a broad range of large nuclear clean-up projects.

His work prior to joining Battelle spanned a broad scope of technical and project management responsibilities, including process development, pilot plant operations, production supervision, engineering design, and supervision of full-scale construction projects. In these roles, he developed a strong sense for appropriate application of many chemical unit operations, and became skilled at building and leading interdisciplinary teams to address complex technical problems. His contributions to Battelle have focused on developing and applying technologies for treatment of hazardous and radioactive wastes and spent nuclear fuel.
